Charming Evershot, and the Acorn Inn!

Wow, Jan is hitting it out of the park with accommodations. We spent two lovely evenings at the Acorn Inn in Evershot, Dorcester, known for it’s historic setting AND award winning chef!

The Acorn Inn is a renovated 16th century coaching inn from the days of Thomas Hardy, mentioned in “Tess of the d’Urbervilles’!
Heading out for a walk around this charming rural village.

Gary and I have delighted in exploring English Gins, which were featured in the Acorn Inn bar! Lots to explore and enjoy! But the food…just feast your eyes on this English Pea soup and the Apricot pudding (a soft creamy pudding inside a hard shell…). Wow!

This was a goblet, not a glass and I need some!
Before…
After you crack it open!
